Welcome to River Valley Campground! We are located just two miles from the town of Wadena, Iowa. Nestled in the Volga River valley, our secluded campground offers 40 campsites and three furnished cabins. Enjoy the view of our 2-acre private lake from your deck or campsite or rent one of our canoes or kayaks for a peaceful paddle. You can even catch and release the bass and panfish in this stocked lake! Take a stroll along the nature trail that wraps around the lake, and enjoy the local birds, wildlife, and plant life the Wadena area is known for. Campsites are available for nightly or seasonal rental and cabins can be rented nightly or by the week. Unplug from from Internet and TV; get ready for the quiet escape you have been craving!

Cabins
Our three cabins are located on the edge of our campground, overlooking our private 2-acre lake. All cabins are furnished and include towels and bedding. Kitchens are stocked with basic utensils, dishware, pots and pans. All three cabins feature deck or porch seating. These cabins are available to rent by calling us directly or booking through VRBO or AirBnB.
